Family First

When my son, Tilyn, was diagnosed with leukodystrophy, a rare and incurable disease, I found myself balancing his medical appointments, caregiving, and my own health while working a demanding job as a single mom with ankylosing spondylitis. The inflexibility of traditional employment made it impossible to prioritize our family’s needs. I explored work-from-home options to support my family without sacrificing time with my son, but I was initially overwhelmed by the information overload and high costs of many courses. Driven by a sense of purpose, I discovered free and affordable resources that allowed me to build Family First. Where I share these insights to empower others to “own their own income” and create a life they love without financial strain.
